Heut kam ich heim und du warst nicht da.

Kein kleiner Gruß hing wie sonst an der Tür.

Seltsam still war es hier.

war ich nicht oft ein sehr schwieriger Mann,

Draußen fiel Regen in der Dunkelheit.

Da ging die Tür und du kamst herein.

Voll mit Paketen durchnässt, aber froh.
