Os dentes levemente mais à frente

Revelam meu sorriso azulejado

Emoldurado por lábios salientes

Certamente ardentes se beijados

A fronte suavemente projetada

Como nas estátuas primitivas

A testa de feição mais alongada

Como nas estirpes mais antigas

Me atenho aqui a descrever meu rosto

Que o resto só com os olhos de um pintor

Suficientemente hábil e de bom gosto

Pra retratar-me toda em toda cor

Apenas cito a mais as minhas pernas

Raramente expostas por inteiro

Qual montanhas sob neves eternas

Encobertas janeiro a janeiro

Talvez a breve referência aos dentes

E ao meu sorriso aberto azulejado

Já seja tão ou mais que o suficiente

Para explicar as fadas do meu fado

The teeth slightly further forward

Reveal my tiled smile

Framed by protruding lips

Certainly ardent if kissed

The smoothly projected forehead

As in primitive statues

The more elongated forehead

As in the older strains

I stick here to describe my face

That the rest only with the eyes of a painter

Sufficiently skillful and in good taste

To portray myself in every color

I only mention my legs

Rarely fully exposed

What mountains under eternal snows

Covered January to January

Perhaps the brief reference to teeth

And to my tiled open smile

Already be as or more than enough

To explain the fairies of my fado
