Träume verweh’n, wenn sie nicht wissen,

wo sie schlafen sollen,

und bevor der Tag kommt,

zieh’n sie mit dem Wind davon.

Die Welten dreh’n, wer von uns weiß,

wer seine Freunde sind?

Wenn ein neuer Tag kommt,

seh’n wir alle anders aus.

Die Zeit vergeht und so viel bleibt im Straßenstaub.

Wird uns fremd, wie ein Bild von daheim.

Alles längst verschwunden, alles überwunden und doch

war da viel mehr als ein Spiel.

Träume erfrieren, wenn niemand da ist,

der sie träumen will,

und bevor der Tag kommt,

sind sie mit der Nacht davon.

Jetzt steh’n wir hier, wer von uns weiß noch,

welchen Weg er geht?

Wenn ein neuer Tag kommt, ist nichts,

wie es einmal war.

Dreams vanish if they don't know

The worlds turn, who of us knows

who are his friends?

When a new day comes

we all look different.

Time flies and so much remains in the dust of the streets.

Becomes strange to us, like a picture from home.

Everything has long since disappeared, everything has been overcome and yet

there was much more than a game.

Dreams freeze when nobody's there

who wants to dream her

and before the day comes

are they gone with the night.

Now we're standing here, who of us still knows

which way does he go?

When a new day comes is nothing

as it once was.
