Leaning on the edge of hope

I feel the ground give beneath me

Fell down through the uncertainty and what once was deep into every self

loathing memory

I’ve gone numb to everything

Welcome the earth as I fall to my knees

All that’s left for me is a fork in the road

Split between a path beaten by forgotten love

Towards giving into a life of so called security

Or a life of scraping by to find my own truth
