Zwischen Traum und Erwachen,

Zwischen Weinen und Lachen,

Zwischen allen Gefühlen,

Und

Zwischen allen Stühlen.

Ich habe dich nur ein Stück begleitet,

Jetzt wird der Ernst des Lebens ernst.

Und doch, du bist nie ganz vorbereitet

Auf die Lektion, die du grad lernst!

Da gelten andere Gesetze

Und ein eis‘ger Nordwind fegt,

Da draußen sind so viel Haken und Netze

Für kleine Fische ausgelegt.

Nun, deine eigenen Wege gehen

Mich gar nichts an, mir bleibt allein,

Dir dabei nicht im Wege zu stehen,

Nur wenn du mich brauchst, da zu sein.

Da ist die Welt, und du kannst wählen!

Vergiss den Rest und merk dir bloß:

Du kannst allezeit auf mich zählen

Und das gilt ganz bedingungslos!
