Years, like lovers’ve got to go

Passing to give us, another ascendance

Through the next rove

Thorns, spectating our way

Gorgeous abundance, or a poverty and rage

…The end will equate us

How far we are, lost among the tales

Bookstores full of carnal bilge…

Now I recollect, fragments I’ve lost

I know they will torment me

I know they won’t toughen me…

Pitiful on the knees, wretched while we please,

Willing the fables, to become our appearance

Is it what you have, what you crave, what you claim?

You tend to disobey, what is safe, to feel sane

But all gets to the point, when after a loss

Nothing remains the same, nothing avails the sane

Years, under a pile of days, minutes go astray

Wandering is what we do

When we farewell another hope, give another final salute…

One has to live, one has to fall

World goes on…
