I may be a part of the ocean

Scaled and undone, soaked above and far below

Whales into slipping meanders

Frozen rivers, chilling to the bone

Now, do you know where you want to go

Far below all the places you used to know

I had to part ways with the ocean

Son of a hun, in a far away land

Arrows come and go right through me now

I fail to see how you could patch me up

The fall gave me a bloodied back

I’m falling apart, yet I can’t reach you from afar

For all the things I’ll blame myself for

My light to the shore is your arms and heart

Now, do you know where you want to go

Far below all the places you used to know

Up the summit, I’ve been down

Fighting shadows in the sun

I was living on the run until you found me
