Black again covers white

I paint my day

Memories surround me

Reveries still haunt me

Flames of dream

Burst from the ashes

Wearing faces from ages passed

I’ll be changing behind many masks

Until the dusk

Will fade away

New day will break

Running through the fire

Trying to seize desires

Oceans of bygone days

I swim again

I wonder why I still remember

Nothing but pain

I don’t know why

I’m feeling blue

Act like fool

Myself again I want to be

To sleep and dream

Oh set me free

Help to me by myself once more

Simple desires fill my soul

I want to find the hidden truth

Be able to forgive abuse

And reach a place of safety

I’m through with fairy-tales and daydreams

Won’t look for happiness — oh no!

A company of one small tear for nevermore
