Wir waren damals zu sechst

Er gab so gut wie nie

Seine Gitarre aus der Hand

Die längste Mähne und den stursten Kopf

Und ein riesengrosses Herz

Er konnte nerven und begeistern

Und ein Freund sein doch dann

Am Ende stand der Schmerz

All seine Pläne hat der Krebs durchkreuzt

Er musste viel viel zu früh gehen

Doch seine Träume nahm er mit

Und wenn ich an ihn denke

Kann ich ihn vor mir sehn

Rolf rockt den Himmel

There were six of us then

He gave almost never

His guitar out of hand

The longest mane and the stubborn head

And a huge heart

He could annoy and inspire

And then be a friend

In the end there was pain

Cancer thwarted all his plans

He had to go much much too early

But he took his dreams with him

And when I think of him

Can I see him in front of me

Rolf rocks the sky
