Müde schleppt der alte Mann die Last hinter sich

Her. Der Lauf der Zeit hat Berge angehäuft

Dass so viele an ihn glauben, gerade das macht es so

Schwer.

Er hat doch schon so viele enttäuscht

Zuerst war alles einfach nur ein Experiment —

Allerdings mit nur einem Versuch.

Er wusste nicht, ob

Es wahrhaftig ein Segen wird oder ein irreparabler

Fluch.

Er gab ihnen das Feuer und die Freiheit zu

Denken, zu glauben und zu verstehen.

Doch dann

Entdeckte er zu spät, das Denken war nicht zu lenken

Ein Fehler im System

Lass sie nicht hängen und schenk diesem

Ganzen den Sinn

Er half, wo er nur konnte mit all

Seiner Kraft und Macht

Doch das reichte nie, erschöpft, überschätzt

Er hat als Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe aber, und das mit Bedacht

So manches klare Zeichen gesetzt

Den Weg aus dem Schlamassel aus dem Chaos zu finden

Das kann er für die Welt nicht allein

Jeder muss ihn für sich suchen keiner sieht für die Blinden

Keiner kann ohne Hoffnung sein

Jedem das Seine und allen den göttlichen Sinn
