Somewhere high and far

I decided to come down

Tired of the race

Feeling like a clown

Running like an old fruit fly

Just trying to get around

Cut my noose

Fall real far

Get my feet back on the ground

It’s been a long while

Since I’ve been back of the line

I think it’s time

To rethink all that’s mine

Time will serve my purpose fine

They won’t leave me far behind
