I moved the moon to grow the tides

Just to leave myself drifting in the waves

And I devoured the light of sun

Made it black to blind my eyes

And see what eyes can’t see

I’ll break the root of every tree

And spoil the life from seeds

And curse lands to decay…

I’ll make the rivers run back dry

I can’t find what I lost

Just pebbles, bones and dust

No one stays…

Nothing lasts…
