Summertime and the weather’s fine

I haven’t seen your face in such a long time

But here you are now by my side

You say honey let me take you for a ride

We’re driving fast in your little car, and there is no turning back now

Returning smile, and for a while, my doubts are buried far far far down

We’re going alone on that same old road again, the same old story that never

unfolds

But what can I do l, it feels so new, being with you

The crowded streets, the neon lights, the city dances widely into our eyes

Tell me stories of years gone by

And the music’s playin' on without a sound

But still I pray it’s not a dream, I pray it’s not all in my mind

But i’m wide awake and you’re here to stay this time round

Summertime is almost through but somehow I just find myself with you.
