What in the world was I thinking

to let you in like that?

I said it, and it was so convincing,

I wouldn’t make that mistake again

Sometimes I get the feeling you mean to

be the first thing on my mind

But then I’m sitting right next to you

and you act like you’ve just gone blind

Why does it feel like a storm in the summer?

One day it’s warm then, oh, here comes the thunder

I go back and forth and you just seem amused
