Du bist doch noch so jung,

das ist was die Leute sagen,

doch wenn ich heute gehen müsste,

könnte ich mich wirklich nicht beklagen,

was ich alles schon erleben durfte,

ich hab furchtbar Angst vorm Tod,

Ich hab zwar kein Vermögen,

und außerdem ist da ein Mädchen das mich liebt,

ich weiß nicht, ob es auf der Welt was bessres gibt,

bin ich auch viel im Sonnenschein,

auch wenn die Angst vorm Sterben weh tut,
