Turn off my mind, put the TV on

Like I did yesterday and almost every other day

A sense of apathy closing in

My heart susceptible to growing duller to His ways

If God can do so much more than we can ask, or ever could imagine

Why, why, why do I, do I always fall for ordinary?

Why, why, why, when I can fly with life extraordinary?

So quick to hide in my comfort zone

It numbs my heart I know and it is robbing me of faith

Unwind by drawing my energy

From things no good for me;

it is such a stupid waste
