Und der Tag beginnt mit der Entdeckung einer Schönheit

Hinter den Augen — Purpurwolken aufgehen sehn

Und die Wolken zieh’n vorbei mit dem Morgenlicht

Über den Hügeln und über den Dächern

Denn er trennt sich da wo die Lichter in der Ferne sind

Hinter den Augen und hinter den Lidern
