Wo mag sie wohl heute sein

Wenn ich abends durch Schwabing geh

Dann fällt mir oft ihr Lächeln ein

Sie glaubte fest

Sie sprach von denen

Die bei uns im Schatten stehn

Sie hatte Mut

Und was sie sprach, war klar und gut

Und ich glaube heute

Was sie sagte

Hat mich verändert…

Sie war zuhaus

In einem Zimmer unterm Dach

Und all die Bilder dort

Die hatte sie gemalt

Und ihr Kaffee

Das war der beste auf der Welt

Ich hab sie lieb gehabt

Doch wir gingen auf verschiedenen Wegen

Where might she be today

When I walk through Schwabing in the evening

Then I often think of her smile

Sometimes I think of Marion

It was difficult to understand her

And I think she already knew

We would part

She firmly believed

That this world can be changed

She spoke of them

Who stand in the shadow with us

She had courage

And what she spoke was clear and good

And I believe today

What she said

Has changed me...

She was at home

In a room under the roof

And all the pictures there

She painted them

And her coffee

That was the best in the world

I loved her

But we went different ways
