Tabaluga murmelte die Formel…

Ein durchdringender Rhythmus, der wie ein Herzschlag tief aus der Erde kam,

Ließ den Boden unter Tabaluga erzittern.

Wo eben noch die Sonne glühte, standen

Nun mehrere mattglänzende Kugeln am schwarzen Himmel und warfen ein kaltblaues

Licht auf eine Gruppe von Wesen, die sich im Takt einer seltsamen Musik

Auf Tabaluga zu bewegten.

«Erkennungsnummer — password — voice control.»

Tabaluga traute seinen Ohren nicht.

«Was redest du da?

Ich versteh' kein Wort.»

«Analyse… unbekannter… Besucher.

Intelligenzquotient… wird… ermittelt.

Schalte um auf Klartext.»

Tabaluga kam einen Schritt näher.

«Ich bin Robotron, das vollkommenste Wesen des Universums.

«Dann kannst du mir doch sagen, was Liebe ist.»

«Was denn», staunte Tabaluga, «ihr habt kein Gefühl?»

Luminous silence, as bright as a thousand suns.
