I’ve been waiting here for hours

Where’s my cake and flowers

I’m scrolling through my phone looking for

Birthday messages

Feel pretty forgotten

But I feel that pretty often

You’d think my phone would blow up if I

Keep refreshing it

I’m crying on my birthday

I don’t feel like cutting cake

Every year, no day is lonelier

Then when I’m reminded that I’m the only one

No fair, it’s my birthday

I don’t need no presents ether

Just want someone present here

I’ve never been the type to through a party

I’ve never been too sure that anyone would come

And all my best friends have better friends

They get on well without me

If they came to my party

I would just look dumb

At least I don’t have to dress up
