Fu nell’anno '41 che qualcuno fu pap?

venne poi il '44 e quell’uomo se ne va

'945 madre e figlio senza lui

come vissero da allora in poi

nessuno seppe mai

gli anni passano veloci

per quel bimbo invece no

chiuse gli occhi e disse

tra vent’anni li aprir?

gli occhi che era un uomo

vide un clown passar di l?

e gli disse «vuoi venir con noi?»

e lui rispose si

Con il circo vide strade

e paesi, citt?

ebbe gioie e dolori

e ragazze in quantit?

«giro il mondo fino in fondo

non mi fermer?

mai pi?»

fino a quando i sogni rosa

si dipinsero di pi?

poi incontr?

una ragazza

quella che voleva lui

e tra un bacio e una carezza

disse «mia moglie tu sarai»

costruirono una casa

«non ti lascer?

mai pi?»

e la gente un giorno vide

sulla porta un nastro blu

qualcuno fu pap?

venne poi il '64

e quell’uomo se ne andr?

'965 madre e figlio senza lui

quando un giorno arriva un circo

«ehi bambino, cosa fai?»

Was it in 1941 that someone was father?

Then came 1944 and that man  leaves

'945 mother and son without him

how they lived from then on

no one ever knew

the years go by fast

but not for that child

he closed his eyes and said

in twenty years will I open them?

With the circus he saw ways

and countries, cities?

he had joys and pains

and girls in quantity?

"I travel all the way around the world

until the pink dreams

they painted more?

a girl

what he wanted

and between a kiss and a caress

she said "my wife you shall be"

they built a house

and people one day saw

on the door a blue ribbon

was someone dad?

then came '64

and will that man leave ?
