Been waiting on Fall

My money’s almost gone

I would go back north but the winter’s too long

And I hate to see the ice and snow

I gotta move out of this sleepy town cause I hate to stand around

And I can’t ever be satisfied

I went up on the hillside just as far as I could see

Couldn’t find nobody in this town for me

So I’m moving out this sleepy town, 'cause I hate to stay home and pace around

And I can’t be satisfied

I heard through the grape vine

I was kicking at someone’s stall

Everybody’s talking when I ain’t kicked at all

So if somebody’s talking lord giving lies on me

Something that they heard ain’t nothing that they seen

So I’m moving out of this sleepy town, cause I hate to be talked about

And I can’t be satisfied

Ways just like an angel and I’m sweet as black bear jim

Mind is on the devil and I don’t want to give a damn
