Aigüa avall baixava una rosa

cel amunt volava un ocell

i la flor besava una onada

que duna abraçada la deixà sense arrels.

Entre núvols locell la mirava

quèien els pètals, nua la flor

tot piulant volia salvar-la

però les espines punxàven el vòl

els amors que no oblidaré

són aquells que no vaig tenir

si pogués, només, sommiar

que una ona em pogués estimar.

Era el mar més gran que recordo

un planeta de peixos i sal

i la flor per més que estudiava

la seva bellesa no aprenia a nedar.
