Paper Cranes -

All my devotion, dissolved into waves.

All these memories repressed in my mind,

all these secrets their lights must not find.

Let oceans lay to waste all I can’t erase,

paper cranes with tales untold shall sink beneath the waves.

Carry my shame to the depths of the seas.

Little birds swallowed by a raging monster,

Spitting out all these bones and feathers.

Sink.

As the silence numbs my senses,

I see a fading light,

whispering in endless torture,

over and over again.

Watch your lies, as they crumble all around you,

taking down everything you cared about,

leaving you with nothing but sorrow and regret,

none you can forget.

And if you think you’ll come back.

Well you can’t be more wrong.

For once the dark takes hold,

you’ll never find your way home.

All that was promised,

all my devotion,

let them sink forever,
