Du bestimmst, was ich haben darf

Und Du zensierst, was ich sagen darf

Dein System besteht aus Lügen und Verrat

Unser Ausverkauf ist Deine Saat

Doch bekanntlich erntet man, was man sät

Darum wundere Dich nicht, wenn man Dich verrät

Dies ist mein Widerstand

Dein Paradies ist abgebrannt

Es war nur auf Sand gebaut

Auf Deine Lügen hab’ich noch nie vertraut

Bin weder schwarz — noch bin ich weiß

Bin Realist — wenn Du weißt, was das heißt.

Ich bin kein Sozi oder Kommunist

Bin kein Nazi, Fascho oder gar Rassist

Es seid IHR, die Lügen über mich verbreiten

Um meinen Ruf und mein Ansehen zu beschneiden

Doch sehe ich nur die Welt, wie sie wirklich ist

Darum bin ich nicht wie Du — ich bin Realist

Dies ist mein Widerstand

Dein Paradies ist abgebrannt

Es war nur auf Sand gebaut

Auf Deine Lügen hab’ich noch nie vertraut

Dies ist ein Schlag in Dein falsches Gesicht

Und ich hoffe, dass es bald zerbricht

Dies sind Worte von Freiheit und Mut

Geschrieben mit Herz, Ehre und Blut

It is YOU who spread lies about me
