An overgrown dictatorship behind the votes

A Bible belt mentality that is ful of holes

A sticky fascination without modern sight

A petty optimism that is based on lies

Simple paraphrasing and a play on words

All to justify the hidden means untold

Five times counting and it’s missed again

We’ll never find out where the symptoms end
