One Day - One Less Reason

Some thought it best that you didn’t know

Others live their lives by I told you so

You were out on the ledge, hard to control

But it was all that you had, you couldn’t let it go

Some found it hard and they could barely believe

Without saying goodbye you just couldn’t leave

You had tears in your eyes, down on your knees

You were saying a prayer but I only heard please

One day let this come my way

Because right now I just don’t see how
