В направлении пения

Летело моление,

А господь на небе замечал,

Какие у певца глаза —

Ведь глаза не скроют

То, что в сердце ноет,

И умоет слеза и героя, и юнца, и младенца,

Когда звучит молитва.

Не смотри в небеса с дерзновеньем —

До спасенья далёко,

Дорога из греха терниста, темна,

Без маяка

Не найти исхода!

В направлении пенья летело моленье —

Господь в небесах

Подумал о нас

И стало теплей от его глаз.

Из темноты зовет молчанье,

Зовут из света голоса,

А господь на небе замечает,

Какие у певца глаза —

Ведь глаза не скроют

То, что в сердце ноет,

И умоет слеза и героя, и юнца, и младенца,

Когда звучит молитва.
