Als ich erwachte — hatte ich ein Gefühl

Hab die halbe Nacht lang — meine Laken zerwühlt

Hörte den Hund draußen bell’n, Nackenhaare war’n aufrecht gestellt

Und während alle noch schliefen, sah ich zu wie er wuchs
