Fluchtwagenfahrer - Ohrenfeindt

Letzter Blick unter die Haube,

Ölstand nochmal gecheckt,

topfit bis auf die letzte Schraube,

der Wagen is' wie geleckt.

Die Maschine frisiert,

die Bremsen überholt,

der Chrom poliert,

der Tank randvoll.

Aahah — Ich halt das Auto in Schuss,

Aahah — das is' wirklich’n Muss!

Es ist — um ehrlich zu sein —

gar nicht wirklich meins:

Ich bin 'n Fluchtwagenfahrer — aaah!

Im Parkhaus vis-a-vis

ein Nummernschild geborgt,

und in der nächsten Drogerie

'nen Strumpf als Maske besorgt.

Wie immer Bullenfunk

im Radio programmiert —

ich brauch' keinen Stunk

bin immer voll informiert!

checked the oil level again

top fit down to the last screw,

the car is like licked.

the machine cooks,

the brakes overhauled

who polishes chrome,

the tank is full to the brim.

Aahah — I keep the car in good shape

It is — to be honest —

not really mine:

In the multi-storey car park opposite

borrowed a license plate

and in the nearest drugstore

got a stocking as a mask.
