I’ve been on this trail for days

And once again it starts to rain

And I just want to find my way

But the water’s distorting my gaze

I’ve been on this trail for days

Finding my way up to the top

I can’t see anything from this distance

My eyes are shutting me off from existence

And I think that

My very own experience of insisting persistence

Made me

Forget my water

But the path only gets longer

So I walk along these trees

These trees I can see grow taller

But I can feel me getting nearer

And I can feel me getting weaker

And if my brain is like a lightbulb

I can feel is start to flicker

But I’m too close now

Just to turn around

So I’ll just tread on

Through the night and dawn

So I can see the top,

But I don’t need to be on top

I just want a view

I’m climbing up a mountain, I won’t ever stop

And I just wanna finally reach the top, yeah

In a distant destination

Another menial fascination,

With my distorted imagination

I can’t see through my «impatient mind»

So I don’t if it’s really mine

Don’t know if I’ll reach the end,

Or if I’ll be able to send

The message that I write:

I don’t know if I’ll sleep tonight

Just know that I,

I’ll make it
