Ist es nur der Wind der uns unsere Gedanken bringt

Sind es nur die Winde die sie wieder verwehn

Ist es nur der Wind der gegen uns von vorne drückt

Wenn es wieder gilt aufrecht zu stehn

Ist es nur der Wind der uns immer weiter treibt

Ist es nur der Wind der uns auch dazu zwingt

Ist es nur der Wind der uns in die Gesichter schlägt

Um nicht zu merken wie sehr es hier schon stinkt

Und harte Zeiten kommen und schlechte Freunde gehn

Die ihre Fahnen im Wind drehen

Jedem seine Zeit seine Denkfreiheit dafür wolln wir grade stehn

Is it just the wind that brings us our thoughts

Is it just the winds that blow them away again

Is it just the wind pushing against us from the front

When it's time to stand up again

Is it just the wind that drives us further and further?

Is it just the wind that forces us to do it?

Is it just the wind hitting our faces?

So as not to notice how badly it stinks here

And hard times come and bad friends go

Waving their flags in the wind

To each his time his freedom of thought for that we just want to stand
