Torneranno gli animali

Ad occupare il loro posto

E gli umani nelle grotte

A disegnare sopra i muri

E il profeta con la barba

Salirà sulla montagna

E in regalo avrà una mappa

Per scappare sulla luna

Finiranno i tempi accesi

Degli onori ad ogni costo

Degli allori sbandierati

O sfregi in faccia agli indifesi

E i mercanti come è giusto

Affogheranno in un pantano

Dietro a truffe ed oro fuso

Dalla loro stessa mano

E così sia, disse l’uomo

Alla finestra guardando il cielo

Prima della tempesta

Non c'è storia, non mi provocare

Disse il mare, prima della tempesta

Cercheranno i miliardari

Di sfuggire al camposanto

Ma uno scherzo del destino

Li accomuna ai mendicanti

Cominciamo ad insegnare

La gentilezza nelle scuole

Che non è dote da educante

Ma virtù da cavaliere

Mangiate tutti
