La solitudine è

Amara beatitudine per me

È necessaria come un vizio

E la coltivo un po' per sfizio

Un divano in cui affondare

È condizione esistenziale

Come misurare i pavimenti

A passi lenti

E queste quattro mura

Sono ormai la mia censura

A tutto quello che c'è fuori

Che spesso fa così paura

Allora vorrei evaporare

Per essere dovunque

Ed entrando nei respiri

Comprendere i pensieri

Imparare a pattinare

Su questo oceano di ghiaccio

E a tendere il mio arco

Fino a non potere fare di più

Meno male che ci sono

Altrimenti sarei solo

Come è sola una ferrovia

È prigione e protezione

Vanitosa commemorazione

Della mia apatia

Ma il fatto è che di questo stato

Ormai ne sono innamorato

Come un vecchio del passato

Come Dio del suo creato

Allora vorrei evaporare

Per essere dovunque

Ed entrando nei respiri

Comprendere i pensieri

Imparare a pattinare

Su questo oceano di ghiaccio

E a tendere il mio arco

Fino a non potere fare di più

Loneliness is

Bitter bliss for me

It is as necessary as a vice

And I grow it a little for a whim

A sofa to sink into

It is an existential condition

How to measure floors

With slow steps

And these four walls

They are now my complaint

To everything that is out there

Which is often so scary

Then I'd like to evaporate

To be everywhere

And getting into the breaths

Understanding thoughts

Learn to skate

On this ocean of ice

And to draw my bow

Up to not being able to do more

Luckily there are

Otherwise I would be alone
