Supostamente evoluído, ao logo do tempo

Seu comportamento, antes coletivo

É cada vez mais individualista e nocivo

Eu vivo com a mente em parafuso;

confuso;

Sem entender onde, de fato, me encaixo

Às vezes, relaxo e até esqueço tudo por um tempo

Mas, quando me lembro, sempre fico pra baixo

Tudo o que era execrável, parece ter se tornado aceitável

A humanidade engatou marcha à ré

É preciso ter fé pra ficar de pé

E seguir na contramão desse caminho lamentável

Instável e insustentável é o estado atual

Sei que isso não é normal, e não posso simplesmente aceitar

O cenário tem que mudar;

eu não vou me calar

E nem deixar a passividade me afetar

Enquanto se distraem com uma bola

O governador mandou fechar mais uma escola

E a mídia trata como invasão a ocupação

Feita por jovens que lutam pelo direito à educação

Racistas camuflando preconceito com piadas

Taxando quem não vê graça como «extremistas»

Entre mistas etnias devia existir igualdade

Mas a disparidade é gritante, e nos salta à vista

Revolta seletiva;

guerra de classes

Lutas improdutivas, sem fundamento em suas bases

A «elite pensante» passa adiante a visão ignorante

Incitando a guerra, e deixando a paz distante

Discurso de ódio escancarado em rede social

Compartilhado e aceito como algo normal

Boato vira fato, por maioria de voto

E que se foda se a informação é ou não real

Reclamam da velocidade nas Marginais

E ignoram o índice de acidentes fatais

Quanto mais o tempo passa, maior é o egoísmo

E aumenta o meu pessimismo quanto aos seres racionais

Na TV;

nos jornais, falam de corrupção

Como se fosse a mais nova das mazelas da nação

Mas não é de hoje que esse filme tá rodando em repetição

Sem uma previsão de interrupção

«Geração BBB», cuidando da vida alheia

Julga o outro de boca cheia, e esquece de viver

Se vê alguém vencer, o olho expande de uma tal maneira

Que o tamanho é capaz de causar um eclipse

Se isso é evolução, prefiro ser um primata

Que não desmata, e por dinheiro não mata

Mesmo que meus pensamentos simples soem abstratos

Made by young people who fight for the right to education

Racists camouflaging prejudice with jokes

Labeling those who don't see fun as "extremists"

Between mixed ethnicities there should be equality

But the disparity is stark, and it jumps out at us

Selective revolt;

class war

Unproductive fights, baseless at their bases

The «thinking elite» passes on the ignorant view

Inciting war, and keeping peace at a distance

Widespread hate speech on social media

Shared and accepted as normal

Rumor becomes fact, by majority vote

And fuck if the information is real or not

Complain about the speed on the Marginals

And they ignore the fatal accident rate

The more time passes, the greater the selfishness

And it increases my pessimism about rational beings

On TV;

in the newspapers, they talk about corruption

As if it were the newest of the nation's ills

But it's not today that this movie is running on repeat

Without an interruption forecast

«BBB Generation», taking care of other people's lives

Judge the other with your mouth full, and forget to live

If you see someone win, the eye expands in such a way

That the size is capable of causing an eclipse

If this is evolution, I'd rather be a primate

That doesn't deforest, and for money doesn't kill
