Vi pássaros transparentes

Vi coisas de vida e morte

E coisas de sal e nada

Vi um cachorro sem dono

À porta de um cemitério

Vi a nudez nos espelhos

Cristas na noite velada

Vi uma estrela no meio

Da noite cristalizada

Vi coisas de puro medo

Na escuridão espelhada

Vi um cruel testamento

De anjos na madrugada

Vi fogo sobre a panela

No forno de uma cozinha

Vi bodas inexistentes

De noivas assassinadas

Vi peixes no firmamento

E tigres no azul das águas

Mas não via claramente

A circulação das ilhas
