Ich sitz nicht gerne still

Mir schiessen die Ideen durchs Gehirn

Was ich denke

Muss so schnell wie es geht passieren

Ich bin hyperaktiv

Und ich hab alles im Griff

Ich bin nicht so

Wie du mich haben willst

Der Wille

Der durch meine Adern fliesst

Ist frei

Und hört noch nicht mal auf mich

Lass uns wie wir sind

Wir stören dich nicht

Ich bin schneller als die andern

Ich lebe intensiv

Im Winter geh ich barfuss wandern

Ich bin hyperaktiv

Hyperaktivität ist keine Krankheit

Das ist nur eine Gabe die ich habe

Ich mache jeden Tag was neues draus

Jeder Mensch ist was besonderes

Und ich auch

Dem einen bin ich immer viel zu langsam

Andere finden ich bin viel zu schnell

Wer oder was ist denn normal

Was findest du an mir so anders

Ich bin nicht so wie du mich haben willst

Weil Eigenblut durch meine Adern fliesst

Especially not

If someone wants that from me

The ideas shoot through my brain

Must happen as soon as possible

And I have everything under control

That flows through my veins

Is free

And don't even listen to me

Leave us as we are

We don't bother you

I'm faster than the others

I live intensely

In winter I go hiking barefoot

Hyperactivity is not a disease

It's just a gift I have

I make something new out of it every day

Every person is something special

And me too

I'm always much too slow for one

Others think I'm way too fast

Who or what is normal?

What do you find so different about me

I'm not what you want me to be

Because my own blood flows through my veins
