Raus aus dem Schatten deiner Trauerweide

Sonst wiederholt sich alles hier in Dauerschleife

Unten im Tal ist viel Drama gescheh’n

Du musst hoch, um das ganze Panorama zu seh’n

Also geh aus dem Blickwinkel raus

Denn du willst auf den Gipfel hinauf

Irgendwann bist du weiter weg

Und die Trauerweide nur ein kleiner Fleck

Kleines Mädchen, jetzt ist deine Schminke verwischt

Keine Rettungsboote mehr auf deinem sinkenden Schiff

Dabei war doch damals eine Insel in Sicht

Ein schimmerndes Licht, da wo heut nur Finsternis ist

Erinnerst du dich?

Du hattest das Trinken im Griff

Heut ist umgekehrt, weil das Glas die Stimme zerbricht
