Бог простил мне все грехи

Только всё ещё я грешен

Не уйти мне от тоски

И путь в бездну неизбежен

Я вкусил запретный плод

И теперь ближка расплата

Боль в душе моей живёт,

Но душа не виновата…

И во сне, в который раз

Вижу образ твой неясный

Жадный блеск зелёных глаз

Понял я, но всё напрасно

Ты дьяволом была!

Меня сгубила ты!

На муки обрекла, разбила все мечты

Во мрачной келье я нашёл себе приют,

Но духи тьмы меня зовут

В душной келье больше нет

Места жалкому монаху

И луны слепящий свет

Станет мне понятным знаком

День придёт, настанет час

Будут вороны кружиться

Слышу смерти скорбный глас

Так к чему теперь молиться

Здесь лишь мрак и духота

Праведным я стал изгоем

В сердце боль и пустота

Смешаны с тоской и горем…

Places for the pathetic monk

And the blinding light of the moon

The crows will circle

I hear the mournful voice of death

So why pray now

There is only darkness and stuffiness

Righteous I became an outcast

In the heart of pain and emptiness

Mixed with longing and grief...
