finally the truth comes out

she’s not feeling it

and im feeling like a sucker again

but somehow i just don’t believe we’re done

this baggage that she carries weighs a ton

remember when we were so natural?

now we’re a natural disaster

we’d burn up if we moved much faster

i ran outside to see this meteor

a once in a lifetime chance like meeting her

with the way that things are going

i don’t think i’ll be showing up today

i’m showered and i’m dressed, but i’m still a mess

the dams are overflowing

as everything she said came flooding back

it washes out everything in its path

and this is the aftermath

finally the sun comes out

I wipe my eyes and try to let them adjust
