Tough Times - Morse Code

Looking back on time that seems to slip away

Losing track of days when life was fine

Trying hard to smile and grab the giveaway

Thinking now of ways when you were mine

When we were together

It’s the rat race in overdrive where none can win or lose

& the losers can never survive for they have no power to chose

Everyday I struggle with the jungles law

Shutting out emotions that I feel

Come what may I’ve sacrificed the one I love

For success the only thing that’s real

No longer together

No longer together

Now my life is full of fading memories

As the stride gets harder I just try

To keep going now passing in the outer lane

I can never return to days gone by
