Als man noch nicht wusste

Ob die Erde rund sei

Oder eine Scheibe

Leuchtete er schon vom Himmelszelt

Vom Anbeginn der Zeit

Blickte er auf alle Elemente

Die da kamen und gingen

Auf diesem Erdenland

Halleluja

Doch einmal unterzog auch er Sich einer Prüfung vor dem Herrn

Sein Sohn wurde geboren in Bethlehem

Man sagte Gott gab ihm die Kraft

Heller als alle anderen Planeten zu leuchten

Und so stand er still am Horizont

Was mag das nur für ein Gott sein

Der es nicht vermag

Zu verkünden die Ernte seiner Saat
