Бабочка - Монгол Шуудан

Я бабочкой стал в небе летал

От радости пел, будто радуга блестел,

Но нехорошо ребенок как-то шел

Меня увидал и ладошкою поймал

Он меня помял, крылья оторвал

Ножки расчленил, брюшко камушком отбил

Неприятно мне он хихикает

Вот такой вопрос он увлёк его всерьёз

Хотел раздавить, хотел погубить,

Но отпустил меня и сказал: «Живи пока»

Дети всей Земли, мне до смеха ли

Как теперь мне жить, как девчонок мне любить?!

Ползу вдоль мостовой, меня давит грузовой

Лучше б я тогда превратился б воробья!

I became a butterfly and flew in the sky

He sang with joy, as if a rainbow shone,

But not well the child somehow walked

He saw me and caught me with his palm

He crushed me, tore off my wings

Dismembered the legs, beat off the abdomen with a pebble

I don't like it, he giggles

This is the question he took him seriously

I wanted to crush, I wanted to destroy

But he let me go and said: "Live for now"

Children of the whole Earth, do I laugh

How can I live now, how can I love girls?!

I'm crawling along the pavement, I'm crushed by a truck

It would be better if I turned into a sparrow!
