Седой - Мишки на Севере

Случай на севере был в отдаленном районе.

Срок в лагерях отбывал паренек молодой.

Слушал барак весь как пел он босяцкие песни,

Старые зеки назвали мальчишку: «Седой».

Только однажды приходит письмо заказное,

Пишет Седому на зону родимая мать:

«Я заболела, сыночек, ах горе какое!

А, не увидев тебя, не хочу умирать».

Тучи сгустилися над головою Седого.

Взял он гитару, но голос его задрожал,

А на рассвете, как только чекисты вернулись,

Всем объявили, что ночью Седой убежал.

Но не прорвался Седой сквозь посты и кордоны,

Между лопаток достал его глупый свинец…

И никому, никому не известно на зоне —

Где похоронен застреленный в тундре беглец.

А через месяц приходит письмо заказное,

Пишет Седому на зону родимая мать:

«Я поправляюсь, я жду нашей встречи с тобою».

Жаль, но ответ ей Седой не успел написать…
