I’ve got to make sense of this blank canvas

Why can’t I fill it with colours in my head?

So I make a mess depicting my unease

This is the mess only your love could breed

Look at me, look how love has changed the man

I used to be

Don’t you see?

The mess that I’ve become since

Love took hold of me?

Let me go…

I have my ways, I keep the positives

I have my fun, I stay well disciplined

My indignation has left me sad and cold

I’ve made a mess of the love that I’ve been sold
