the water came a mountain tall

washed the wave across it all

and made my heart a waterfall

now every light to guide us gone

lost into the great beyond

but somehow we will carry on

somehow we must carry on

so with cold bent teeth

I will grip the line

I will hold us up

until the flood has dried
