a sound of silence fills my brain

awaiting subconscious to drift off again

as time will fill it’s presence i’ve nothing left to feel

this pain i’ve sustained is a hell with no visible fate

time standing still a resting place

a lapsing memory releases altered states

a darkened feeling of terror

numbing what’s left of my mind and my soul wasting away

no, can this be i am falling in deeper and no one can hear my screams i’ve

embedded with fear

falling and fallin in deeper and deeper again

suspended through state after state

never an end

to see one’s state of mind slip far beyond the edges of time

never an end
