Hard times have come upon us like the fruit from some bad seed

So we stand here, we wring our hands while all our dreams just bleed

No one ever knows the why or how: They say, «It just happened that way.»

Now, on our knees, we beg for rescue — for someone to save the day

This could be the time to start
