Incarcerato in questi abissi di ferro e filo spinato

Di sbarre, vetro blindato e pareti in cemento armato

Indagato da un magistrato, condannato da un verdetto

Accusato di essere l’uomo che ha premuto sul grilletto

Obietto la sentenza rigetto i capi d’accusa

Dichiaro la mia innocenza, ma ormai l’udienza è conclusa

Una coincidenza di fatti in mano a un giudice corrotto

Depistano i misfatti compiuti da un poliziotto

Un complotto di cui sono il capro espiatorio

Che mi vede condotto tra l’inferno ed il purgatorio

Mentre un morto è all’obitorio e un innocente chiuso in cella

Il porco è a piede libero in divisa e rivoltella

E adesso che ho perduto il mio cammino

Prima che sia mattino avrò chiuso i conti con l’infame destino

Non ho più alternative per sfuggire all’aguzzino

Se non dentro la cassa in alluminio di un becchino

Sotto il cuscino ho un taglierino a doppia lama

Il mezzo con cui chiudere una storia senza trama

Una grama vita che brama soltanto una via d’uscita

Recidere le arterie e aspettare che sia finita

Non ho più emozioni, non ho più ragioni e ambizioni

Non ho più motivazioni, non ho più soluzioni

Mi specchio in acque torbide, guardo con gli occhi fissi

Il buio che ho intorno mentre sprofondo tra gli abissi!

Coi soldi e i profitti finiti i rapporti sanciti esauriti

Come eremiti e cari amici spariti nel nulla

Ogni sforzo che faccio in vita il destino lo annulla

Mi affido al ferro che afferro e che la mia mano impugna

Mentre mi scavo la fossa e bevo come una spugna

Ciò mi ripugna ma il delirio mi acceca la mente

La fine incombente è imminente il presente avvilente

Come uno zombi sotto i ponti un vincente è una stella lucente

Un perdente è una stella cadente per sempre

Vedo allo specchio un uomo solo che non sa chi sono

Scrivo ai miei figli a cui imploro chiedendogli perdono

Poi senza dire e spiccicare una parola

I struggle with my demons inside a soulless body

My mind grinds latita in the middle of the underworld

Between bruises and chills in the grip of the worst symptoms

Mystical intrinsic nightmares I eclipse myself among the failures

Weakness from a life of debts, frictions and disputes

I'm not looking for excuses to leave you stunned

I rummage through the debris with yellowed hands and eyes

From the most coveted areas to the dreams that have vanished

With the money and the profits finished, the relationships sanctioned exhausted

Like hermits and dear friends vanished into thin air

Destiny cancels every effort I make in life

I rely on the iron that I grab and that my hand holds

While I dig my grave and drink like a sponge

This repels me but delirium blinds my mind

The impending end is imminent the demeaning present

Like a zombie under the bridge, a winner is a shining star

A loser is a shooting star forever

I see in the mirror a lonely man who doesn't know who I am

I write to my children to whom I implore asking for forgiveness

Then without saying and uttering a word

I close my eyes and in the silence my gun rings
