Pandora's Box - Membranes

Now Pandora was the kind of girl who had inquisitive intentions

She was fascinated by astrology and spectral incantations

The box was a present from an admirer with a dedicated desire

Covered in locks and ancient rhyme and sweet hellfire

Her skinny legs were wrapped around her mysterious voluptuous box

As a fleshy finger was pushed into the rusting lock

Twisting and a-turning, creating a great moaning a sighing, the lid fell to the

floor

Its fluttering contents flew and filled the room with black moths and more

Sensual kisses surrounded by Lepidoptera twitching with a devilish glee at

their fate

Bodies rolled in a fleshy embrace as the freshly released butterflies all

escaped

The lovers' box lay empty waiting whilst the insects caressed

And for a brief butterfly moment we were truly blessed

Pandora was dressed in black, Mother Nature, heart attack

Full of the complex mysteries of broken hearts and the tear-stained survival

between the cracks

She believed in fate and astrological intervention and nature’s formidable

battle to survive

That complex relationship between the hunter and the hunted and trying to stay

alive
